Eico HF-20 monoblock rebuilds
Classic units.. Simply stunning, can’t say enough about these. Gutted the old tired original caps and resistors, used my circuit , painted and trimmed with nice walnut. Check out that output transformer.. Classic. Also ditched the small stock power trans for a larger one. Gives 420v to plates and screens, Ultra-Linear mode. KT88, 6550, EL34,KT77 AND KT66 type power tubes can all be used. Plenty of power, easy 50 watt each amp. Individual power tube bias, no adjustments needed, no adjusting bias, hum or balance needed. plug in and listen. Email with questions. Asking $2500 for the pair. top view. Guaranteed to be some of the best sounding, best built tube amplifiers out there today. All handwired and made right here in the USA, as it should be, just like the good old days when these babies were new!

side / rear view. Send over an email if interested or if you have a pair that is collecting dust. The original HF-20's never sounded very good at all. Once I ditch that Williamson circuit and put in what I like to use it's night and day. What a HUGE improvement. It’s amazing they even ever used that Williamson circuit, so dull, flat and boring. red post is 8 ohm white is 16 ohm.

Dyna ST-70 Rebuild
One of my favorite rebuilds yet.. Man this Gal can sing. Those huge UL output transformers. Upgraded power transformer, NO CIRCUIT BOARDS. NO ADJUSTING BIAS. Just the famous JWN circuit and some fabulous iron. If you have an ST70 that just doesn’t cut it send it over to my shop. Bet it will blow you away when done.. Asking $550 for a complete rebuild of ST70, new power transformer, dual power supply feeds, one for signal tubes and one for power tubes, allows use of many substitutions of rectifier tubes and power tunes. If interested email me and we can chat a bit more. Way too much to describe here..

|
 |
ST-70 driver
Bye, bye flimsy printed circuit board.. Hello good old point to point with careful attention to each solder joint. All new resistors and caps. Get that old ST70 that’s collecting dust up and singing again, a piece of history, audio art if you will... any combination of dual triode tubes can be used. Select what you like. 6SN7, 6CG7,12AU7.

Stereo 6L6, EL34, 5881 HiFi Ultra-Linear mode tube amplifier
6CG7 input and phase inverter tubes are used, 5U4Gb rectifiers. Any good 6L6, 5881 or EL34 tubes may be used with excellent results. Larger 6550 tubes will not safely fit. Sounds amazing, got to love that UL mode, so smooth, powerful and dynamic. Old Baldwin organ amp chassis, getting harder and harder to find for a decent price today. This one is totally rebuilt, new everything except for the chassis and some tube sockets. If you like, contact with questions or custom builds or rebuilds. Jim.

Stereo KT88 / EL34 power amplifier, custom built to order project.
Basic power amplifier, vintage transformers, massive power, great punchy sound. Owner is very pleased, useing 2 ohm infinity speakers!!, his fancy chrome Chinese amp is now a paper weight. don't let the 40 watt jukebox output transformers fool you with their size.. The power and tone of this amp are mind boggling. Uses 6SN7 input and inverter tubes and set of 5R4 rectifiers, plate voltage is near 500v. Individual cathode bias is used, no adjustments, just like with all my units, throw in some good tubes, plug it in, sit back and listen, period.

SOLD... To an extremely satisfied gentleman who has had every Mc30, 60, 275.. go figure.. The latest and greatest.. Cranked this one out last month,(4/10) Added finishing touches this month (5/10). Huge, Industrial, massive, powerful and quiet. Push Pull Parallel amplifier. A serious unit that gets the job done plus some.. Approx 60 watt per channel with 6L6 and 70w or so with EL34 power tubes. 351v on the plates is nice and easy on the power tubes and sounds so sweet and deep. Tubes will last a lifetime in this unit. Huge transformers and a massive choke let this baby run long and cool. Dual 5U4GB rectifiers are used to feed the B+ to the power tubes. The trio of 12AU7 signal tubes have their own supply fed from a separate winding and set of diodes and chokes. A perfect unit for those with power hungry speakers, nothing like having four 6L6 for each channel. Check out the close ups of the trannies. Brazillian cherry hardwood trim, gold and black paint, smaller choke is a grey tone. Please feel free to contact me with questions.

Stereo Push Pull Parallel 6L6 Amplifier... SOLD....
. Here's what owner says...
Hello Jim: Pretty awesome amp!!!-- I tried it with an Ipod direct and with a mixer as pre-amp and I have listened for about 4 hours straight-all I can say is WOW- Dead clean music- The way it should be. - It does everything and then some-- Also the transformers are barely warm- I can listen at low level volume and still get all the sound-- works great with the Pioneer HPM 100 speakers-- (But I am still looking for some Klipsch horns or Cornwalls and maybe Heresys)-- Hard to find here in the midwest".
